Yep! We name our dogs after futbol (soccer) players from Manchester United. Our good boy is named after Zlatan and he goes by Ibrah for short (EE-BRUH).
Ibrah is four years old and we adopted him from Carolina Poodle Rescue when he as a puppy. He is a joy for our whole family.

Impossible question. I have no idea! I read so many books every year and can usually narrow it down to a top ten each year and I have several must-read authors.

Mostly fiction with my favorites being thrillers, contemporary, or queer romance. I dabble in non-fiction, usually with memoirs.

Very little for how much I read. I get the vast majority of my books from the library and I have two monthly audiobook subscriptions that I share with my daughter.
I usually purchase 7-8 physical books a year from my local bookstore and read about 100 books a year. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to read great books!

Either through NetGalley or through the publisher’s influencer program. I find that if you are willing to take a digital edition (kindle, e-reader) and aren’t focused as much on the print edition, it is much easier to access advanced copies.

I worked a corporate career for 20+ years before starting my own business. I now run three businesses and have flexibility with my time, so it’s much easier to find time for hiking and books.

If you haven’t gotten into the Eddie Flynn series by Steve Cavanagh, you might be missing out. Eddie is a criminal defense attorney who uses his con artist background to his advantage in the courtroom. There are already nine primary books in the series and the 10th, One of Us Is Guilty, comes out in March 2027.
